Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton Confirm Engagement
It’s official, folks – Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton are engaged!
Per reports, the proposal recently took place at an undisclosed location in the US state of Oklahoma.
Taking to their respective Instagram accounts on Tuesday, 27 October, the 51-year-singer and the 44-year-old musician confirmed the happy news.
Stefani uploaded a photo of the couple, which shows her kissing the “Nobody But You” hitmaker while flaunting a sparkling, diamond engagement ring.
In the caption, she wrote: “@blakeshelton yes please! [sic]”
Shelton shared the same photo, writing directly to the “Hollaback Girl” songstress in the caption: “Hey @gwenstefani [sic] thanks for saving my 2020 … And the rest of my life. I love you. I heard a YES! [sic]”
The couple began dating in 2015 after they met on the set of the singing competition show, “The Voice”, on which they served as coaches.
Shelton was previously married to singer Miranda Lambert from 2011 to 2015. As for Stefani, she was previously married to musician Gavin Rossdale from 2002 to 2016 – together, they share three children.
