Granny Caught With Dagga
A 65-year old grandmother was arrested in drug charges after she was caught with dagga stashed between her legs.
The woman was caught at a roadblock in Chipinge where police found a small bag of dagga stashed between her legs.
The authorities proceeded to arrest the woman and charge her with possession of illegal substances.
The woman then later appeared in court where judge magistrate Noah Gwatidzo proceeded to give the elderly woman a sentence of 12-months imprisonment.
However, the sentence was suspended for 5 years on the condition that the grandmother not be found with any illegal substances again.
The dagga was recovered from the woman and would remain in police custody. It is unsure whether or not the woman was working or carrying the dagga for a third party.
