GoT stars join Austen/zombie mashup
Game of Thrones stars Charles Dance and Lena Headey have joined the cast of Screen Gems’ Pride and Prejudice and Zombies.
Deadline reports that the Dance and Headey have joined the literary mashup, but their roles as yet have not been specified. They join a cast that includes Lily James, Sam Riley, Bella Heathcoate, Jack Huston, Douglas Booth, Matt Smith, and Suki Waterhouse.
The film follows Jane Austen’s classic tale, but with a twist, that being the inclusion of zombies.
The idea will undoubtedly appal Austen lovers, but would probably have helped a lot of high school English student get through the book if the celebrated writer had thought to include the walking dead in her original version.
