Gavin Rossdale Opens Up About Gwen Stefani Divorce

Gwen Stefani’s ex-husband, musician, Gavin Rossdale, has opened up about his divorce from the singer and how he feels about her now – and it’s not what you might think…

Speaking to The Sun’s Fabulous magazine, Rossdale said that while the couple may be divorced, he still has a lot of fond memories of their relationship and that he still thinks Gwen is incredible.

“…We had 20 years together and that in itself is pretty incredible. It’s a lifetime. I still think she’s incredible,” he told the magazine.

Gwen and Gavin were married for 13 years and were together for 20 years. They also have three sons together – Kingston, 10, Zuma, 8, and Apollo, 2.

Gwen filed for divorce from the Bush frontman in August of 2015.

While neither of them have ever commented on exactly what lead to the divorce, various sources have claimed that Gavin had an affair with the couple’s nanny, which then prompted Gwen to file for divorce.

Gavin said that getting divorced was one of the most painful things he has had to endure, but that he wanted to remain ‘solid’ for the kids.

“…For me, it was about being solid for them, and silent but respectful of Gwen…that’s what I’ll be forever,” he said.

Gavin said that he is still single and that there is no one special in his life just yet.

Gwen, on the other hand, has been dating country singer Blake Shelton for more than a year now after the two met on The Voice, where they both acted as coaches on the reality singing competition show.
