Gareth Bale’s Agent Denies China Move

October 31, 2019

The agent of Real Madrid forward, Gareth Bale, insists that his client will not be leaving the Spanish club this summer, amid reports that he is ready to switch over to the Chinese Super League.

According to reports, the 30-year-old Welshman – who signed with Los Blancos in 2013 for £85.1 million – is unhappy with his treatment by coach Zinedine Zidane.

In addition, club president Florentino Perez allegedly blocking his transfer to Chinese outfit, Jiangsu Suning, has contributed to Bale’s unhappiness.

Now, rumours that the forward is looking to take his talents to China have strengthened, after he was spotted with agent Jonathan Barnett on Tuesday, 31 October, in London, England, for supposed transfer talks.

However, Barnett dismissed these claims in a recent interview, suggesting that his client is willing to fight for his future at the club.

He said: “[Bale] is delighted to play in Madrid. [As for] China? Don’t believe everything you hear.”
