Gabriel Jesus Praises Pep

Manchester City’s star forward, Gabriel Jesus, has praised coach Pep Guardiola for the way in which he has been managing the newly-signed Brazilian.

Jesus joined Manchester City at the start of the year from Brazilian club, Palmeiras, after paying a massive transfer fee of £27 million for the services of the youngster.

He has since had a stunning start at the Premier League club, where he scored three goals in his first five appearances for City.

The 20-year-old was so impressive, in fact, that he bumped veteran Man City forward, Sergio Aguero, from the starting line-up.

However, Jesus says his success at the club is largely due to to Pep Guardiola’s exceptional managerial skills.

Speaking to the media recently, Jesus had nothing but praise for the Spanish manager:

“Pep is a great coach, we all know it…As a person, I have the opportunity and the honour of knowing him,” he said.

He continued, saying that Pep has been different to other coaches he has worked with.

“I see he is a very good person, so that helps a lot. That’s not to say what a huge professional he is…[sic] that’s a big difference [from the other coaches I have worked with],” he concluded.
