Gabriel Jesus Officially Signs With Manchester City
English Premier League club, Manchester City, has officially announced that they have signed Brazilian football star, Gabriel Jesus.
There has been talk about Jesus making the transfer from his Brazilian club, Palmeiras, to the Premier League for quite some time and confirmation came in August of last year, when Jesus signed a five-year contract with the club.
However, he was immediately loaned back to Palmeiras so as to finish the Brazilian football season, which came to an end in December.
The Brazilian international started his football career at the Sao Paulo-based club, Palmeiras, in 2013 when he was only 16 years old.
While neither City nor Jesus’ agent have publicly commented on a transfer fee, it is believed that Manchester City paid around €32 million for the services of the 19-year-old.
With Jesus now officially a part of the team, it is possible that he might make his debut for the club this Saturday when City face off against Tottenham Hotspur at home.
