Fulham Forward Suspended after Arrest
Fulham forward, Aboubakar Kamara, has been suspended indefinitely by the club, after he was arrested and charged with actual bodily harm (ABH) and criminal damages following a physical altercation.
According to a statement released by the Metropolitan Police, officers were called to Motspur Park – one of Fulham’s training grounds – in New Malden on Monday, 21 January, following reports of a fight.
They added: “Officers attended. One man, in his 20s, was arrested on suspicion of ABH and criminal damage.”
Although Kamara – who has scored five goals in 15 appearances for Fulham this season – was not formally identified as the detainee in the statement, Fulham said that the person “is banned indefinitely from Motspur Park and all club activities”.
The French forward’s future is in doubt after being involved in a spate of unpleasant incidents in recent weeks. This includes an alleged blow-up with team-mate Aleksandar Mitrovic last week during a group yoga session at the training ground.
