Fulham and Sunderland Meet in Key EPL Clash
Sunderland head to Craven Cottage on Saturday, 22 November, chasing another statement result in what has been a remarkable start to their Premier League campaign.
Regis Le Bris’s side sit fourth in the English Premier League (EPL) after holding Arsenal to an impressive 2–2 draw before the international break, and they arrive unbeaten in four matches. Granit Xhaka has been central to their strong form, while the squad’s summer reshaping continues to pay dividends.
Fulham, meanwhile, need a response. Marco Silva’s team have lost five of their last six EPL fixtures and sit just a point above the relegation places. Their struggles contrast sharply with their home record, where they have suffered only one defeat this season and remain far harder to break down.
The last meeting between the sides produced a 3–2 win for Fulham, and the history at Craven Cottage is evenly balanced. Sunderland’s away form has been patchy, but confidence remains high on Wearside. Pundits predict a “1-1 draw”, reflecting the belief that Le Bris’s men can again take something on the road.
With both teams seeking vital points for very different reasons, Saturday’s contest promises tension as well as opportunity.
