Former NBC Fixer speaks out on Cosby

November 24, 2014

Former NBC Fixer, Frank Scotti, has spoken out on working at NBC when The Cosby Show was in its prime and his involvement in covering up Cosby’s exploits.

Scotti told the NY Daily News that he did almost anything to protect Bill Cosby and the network while he served as NBC and Bill Cosby’s ‘fixer’.

He also spoke about paying off women and has said that when Bill invited young models into his dressing room,t he would even stand outside and guard the door.

“He had everybody fooled,” said Scotti in an exclusive interview with the Daily News. “Nobody suspected.”

The former fixer also said that he used to deliver monthly payouts to eight different women in 1989-90 — including Shawn Thompson, whose daughter Autumn Jackson claimed Bill Cosby was her dad.

While Cosby consistently denied paternity, he still payed over $100 000 to Thompson over the years after their affair began in 1974. Scotti fully believes Bill Cosby was sleeping with all of the women who he was paying.

“I was suspicious that something was going on,” said Scotti. “I suspected that he was having sex with them because the other person he was sending money to (Thompson) he was definitely having sex with.”

“Why else would he be sending money?” Scotti asked. “He was sending these women $2000 a month. What else could I think?”

Frank Scotti saved copies of money orders from the era detailing his payouts to four of the Cosby women as evidence of his claims. One of the money orders contains Angela Leslie, who recently came forward and shared her story of Bill Cosby’s sexual assault.
