Floyd Mayweather Wants in on Bieber-Cruise Fight
Retired professional boxer, Floyd Mayweather, says he would be keen to promote a mixed martial arts fight between Justin Bieber and Tom Cruise, if it ever happens.
Earlier in June, 25-year-old Bieber reached out to the 57-year-old “Mission: Impossible” actor and laid down the challenge.
In the same tweet, he also reached out to Ultimate Fighting Championship boss, Dana White, asking him if he would stage the bout.
Although Bieber later revealed that the tweet was a joke, Mayweather – who previously trained the “Sorry” hitmaker to box, but fell out with him in 2017 – has offered to promote the fight if it ever becomes a reality.
He said in a recent interview: “If they bring me in as a promoter, then I can talk about it. But until then, I gotta stay in my lane. Gotta stay in my business.”
Meanwhile, Cruise himself has yet to comment publicly on the possibility of taking on Bieber in a fight.
