Flight MH17 Report Released

October 13, 2015

The final report for doomed flight MH17, is finally being released after Dutch authorities compiled the report after completing their investigation.

The doomed flight, that went down in Russia last year, was, in fact, – according to the report – shot down by so-called homemade missiles by Russian-backed Ukranian rebels.

The Malaysian Airlines flight, which was on its way from Amsterdam to Kuala Lampur, was fatally shot down to the ground while it was flying over rebel-held Donetsk on 17 July 2014.

The preliminary report stated that the plane had broken up in the air after it was hit by numerous objects that pierced the plane at a high velocity.

It is not clear yet whether or not Russia will be held accountable for the shooting down of the aircraft.

In the meantime, families of the passengers and crew on board the doomed aircraft has been briefed by officials before the report is to be released to the media.
