The world has discovered the final three men shortlisted for the Best Men’s Player 2019 Award, after FIFA made an announcement on Tuesday, 02 September, at the iconic San Siro stadium in Milan, Italy.

The Dutch defender played a crucial role in their victory and is now going head-to-head with Ronaldo, who has won the award twice and Messi, who has been named the world’s top player five times. These three finalists are most likely to be nominated for the Ballon d’Or as well.
