EPL Titans Get Ready to Face Off
Liverpool and Manchester City – the two top dogs of the English Premier League (EPL) – will be testing their strength against each other on Sunday, 10 March.
The heavyweight clash will take place at Anfield Stadium in Liverpool, England, where the hosts have lost only one of their last 20 games against the Citizens.
At the moment, the two teams are only separated by one point on the EPL table, as the Reds are currently perched at the top with 63 points. For Man City – who were last year’s treble winners – the urge to topple the top-ranked team is strong.
Despite holding the home team advantage, predictions are leaning towards favouring the Citizens over Liverpool. This discrepancy could be caused by pundits having high expectations of the visitors’ powerhouse, striker Erling Haaland, who has made a name for himself in recent years.
To add to the tension, Reds manager Jurgen Klopp and City manager Pep Guardiola have an ongoing rivalry which frequently leads to words being exchanged between the two, both on and off field.
