EPL Club Targets Victor Boniface
Bayer Leverkusen striker, Victor Boniface, has apparently attracted interest from the English Premier League (EPL).
According to recent reports in Germany, an EPL club approached Leverkusen to inquire about Boniface’s availability.
The identity of the EPL club is currently unknown, but they are apparently impressed by the 23-year-old Nigerian international’s prowess on the pitch and are looking to acquire his services.
Indeed, after joining Leverkusen in June 2023, Boniface has already made an impact: he has scored 16 goals in 23 appearances across all competitions, including the Bundesliga and the Europa League.
Sources say Leverkusen are not willing to sell Boniface at this moment in time. However, they are willing to open negotiations with interested parties who can offer at least €55 million or more.
Meanwhile, Boniface is expected to be part of Leverkusen’s squad when they take on TSG 1899 Hoffenheim in Bundesliga action this Saturday, 30 March, after recovering from having adductor surgery back in January.
