England Rugby Interested in Nick Mallett
England may be out of the 2015 Rugby World Cup, but it seems that they are already busy looking for a new coach that can hopefully take the team to new heights.
After England’s dismal performance against Australia in their pool game last weekend, the host nation team was subsequently eliminated from the competition that left the nation in tatters – and of course, gravely affected the future prospects of coach, Stuart Lancaster.
And with Lancaster under fire, sources close to the England rugby union has said that they are apparently interested in enlisting the help of former Springbok coach, Nick Mallett, as possible replacement for Lancaster.
And while Mallett could surely be flattered, it seems that the SuperSport host is not interested in the position at all.
Speaking to the press about the possible new job in England, Mallett was very much to the point, and said that he is not interested at all:
“I’m not going to consider it. I was keen for the challenge in 2011, but not anymore. I’m enjoying my current job,” he told reporters.
