Emmy Rossum Marries Sam Esmail
‘Shameless’ actress, Emmy Rossum, is officially off the market after she tied the knot with her beau of four years, Sam Esmail.
Rossum and Esmail started dating in 2013 and got engaged in 2015.
At the time, Emmy told E! News that the couple was in no rush to get married, but were definitely excited to start their life together.
That union was made official over the weekend, when the two got married in the beautiful east 55th street Conservative Synagogue in New York City in front of family and friends.
Many of Emmy’s ‘Shameless’ co-stars attended the wedding, and posted on social media about how beautiful and fun the wedding was.
Esmail, creator of the multi-award winning series, ‘Mr. Robot’, also had a handful of his cast members attend the nuptials, including Rami Malek and Christian Slater.
Other attendees included Emmy’s fictional father, William H. Macy, actress Hilary Swank and actor Robert Downey Jr.
Emmy wore a stunning ivory coloured, off-the-shoulder, Carolina Herrera gown, which was custom-made for her big day.
Rossum seemed very calm about her wedding in the months leading up to it.
Speaking to E! News a few months before the big day, she said:
“The only thing that’s really important to me is that we get married and there’s some kind of party. And everything else? I won’t freak out if there’s not, like, an orange peony on the day…Like, I don’t care…There are so many more important things [sic].”
