Elon Musk Welcomes 6th Child
Elon Musk has become a father for the sixth time!
The South African-born CEO of SpaceX took to Twitter on Monday evening, 4 May, to announce that his girlfriend, singer Grimes, had just given birth to their first child together.
Confirming in a follow-up tweet that the baby is a boy, Musk also responded to a follower’s query regarding the newborn’s name, writing: “X Æ A-12 Musk.”
The SpaceX CEO and 32-year-old Grimes – real name Claire Boucher – have been dating since 2018. That same year, they made their debut as a couple at the Costume Institute Gala at the Metropolitan Museum of Art.
In January this year, Grimes confirmed that she was pregnant in a now-deleted Instagram post, which showed a picture of the “Oblivion” hitmaker with a foetus Photoshopped into her belly.
At 48, Musk has fathered a total of six children. This includes having five sons with his first ex-wife, Canadian author Justine Wilson.
