Eddie Murphy Welcomes 10th Child
Eddie Murphy has become a father for the tenth time.
The comedian’s fiancee, Paige Butcher, gave birth to their son, Max Charles, last week Friday, 30 November.
The baby’s middle name, Charles, is reportedly a tribute to his uncle, comedian Charles Murphy, who passed away from leukemia last year.
Per a statement released by Murphy’s publicist on Monday, 3 December, both mother and son are doing well.
At 57, Murphy has fathered a total of nine children with five different women. This includes having a daughter with Mel B, a former member of the girl group Spice Girls.
Murphy and Butcher have been dating since 2012, after the “Dr Dolittle” actor split from his ex-wife of 13 years, Nicole Mitchell. The couple already have a two-year-old daughter named Izzy together.
