Ed Sheeran Hit by Car

Ed Sheeran has confirmed that he has broken his arm after being struck by a car in London.

The 26-year-old hit-maker was riding his bicycle yesterday morning when he was hit. He was immediately rushed to the hospital.

Sheeran posted picture of the white plaster cast on his right arm on Instagram, referring to the incident as, “a bit of a bicycle accident”.

The “Shape of You” singer is due to play a number of concerts in Asia over the next two weeks as part of his Divide World Tour. “Divide” is Sheeran’s record-breaking third album, released earlier this year.

The singer-songwriter’s arm injury has put his upcoming tour dates in jeopardy. Media reports are speculating that he may not be able to play the guitar until his arm has healed.

In his Instagram post, Sheeran said, “I’m currently waiting on some medical advice, which may affect some of my upcoming shows”.
