Ed Sheeran Gets Hitched in Secret

Ed Sheeran reportedly got married to his girlfriend in a secret ceremony in December last year.

The “Perfect” hitmaker proposed to hockey player and childhood friend, Cherry Seaborn, in December 2017, and he announced the engagement on Instagram a month later.

Per media reports, Sheeran and Seaborn apparently tied the knot in secret a few days before Christmas. The low-key wedding ceremony took place at the singer’s estate in Suffolk, England.

A source close to the couple explained: “There were only 40 people – so no Taylor Swift, record company executives, or any royals or pop star pals. [Sheeran] wanted no fuss, and he wanted it to be something entirely for them.”

The source added: “It’s amazing that [Sheeran’s] the biggest pop star in the world, but he was just able to quietly slide off and wed.”

However, the couple are supposedly planning a “festival-style [wedding] party” in the summer for their celebrity colleagues and friends who were unaware of the nuptials.
