Earthquake Hits Pakistan, Afghanistan

Pakistan and Afghanistan has been hit by a magnitude 7.5 earthquake that has rocked the two countries.

According to officials from both countries, 237 people died in Pakistan and 74 in Afghanistan with the numbers still climbing as they discover more and more bodies.

The Afghan minister for disaster management, Wais Ahmad Barmak, says 266 people were also injured in Afghanistan.

Both armies for both countries have deployed military help and are scouring the areas for survivors and those that are injured from helicopters.

Thousands of homes and business have also been destroyed in the quake.
