Dynamos, Harare City Draw
The build-up to an epic Premier League game came to somewhat of an anti-climax on Sunday when the Dynamos drew their game with Harare City.
It was set to be one of the toughest and most thrilling games of season, but unfortunately turned out to be a goalless match. Bitter rivals, Dynamos were set on taking down Harare City, but in the end, neither team succeeded in destroying the other.
Dynamos coach, Tonderai Ndiraya, said that the championship is now either Chicken Inn or FC Platinum’s to lose. He also said that his team was not on top form on the day, saying that his strikers “were not there.”
“…[sic] Our strikers were off today, they were off duty. I thought we controlled the game. Most parts of the game we were in control. We created lots of chances, plenty of them but we could not put them away,” he told reporters.
“…[sic] It’s for FC Platinum and Chicken Inn to lose. But we are not throwing in the towel yet. We will keep fighting, working hard until we finish our games,” he concluded.
Dynamos are now six points behind the leaders, with FC Platinum being runner’s up currently and Chicken Inn leading the pack.
