Diddy Pays Tribute to Ex-Girlfriend Following Her Death
Rapper Sean “Diddy” Combs has broken his silence following the death of his ex-girlfriend, Kim Porter.
The 47-year-old model and actress – who shared three children with Diddy – was pronounced dead on Thursday, 18 November at her home in Los Angeles.
The cause of her death has been attributed to cardiac arrest, but media reports say that she had been battling pneumonia for weeks.
Taking to Instagram on Sunday, 18 November, Diddy paid tribute to Porter, whom he had dated on and off for 13 years before they called it quits in 2007.
The “I’ll Be Missing You” hitmaker uploaded a video of him cuddling a pregnant Porter during a photoshoot in 2006.
In the caption, he wrote: “For the last three days I’ve been trying to wake up out of this nightmare. But I haven’t. I don’t know what I’m going to do without you, baby.”
The 49-year-old rapper added: “We were more than best friends, we were more than soulmates … And I miss you so much. Super Black Love [sic].”
Porter’s death remains under investigation.
