Diarrhoea Claims 300 Lives
A strong and deadly strain of diarrhoea has claimed the lives of 300 people thus far all across the country.
The health and child ministry has revealed that approximately 323 people have died of the deadly strain of diarrhoea since January this year. The data was collected up until the end of July.
According to the ministry latest weekly report, 9,779 cases and 9 deaths were reported in this week alone.
The cumulative figure for dysentery is 23 899 cases and 71 deaths.
The ministry has also urged people to stay away from those infected and to see immediate medical help if they contract the virus.
