‘Detour’ to shoot in South Africa
Indie thriller Detour starring Tye Sheridan (The Tree of Life) is set to film in South Africa according to The Hollywood Reporter.
The site reported that the upcoming film follows Sheridan’s character Harper who’s a "young law student" that’s grieving for his dying mother. As Harper grieves, he contemplates killing his step-father as he’s been unfaithful to Harper’s mother.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the film is to be written and directed by Christopher Smith (Get Santa) but there’s no word yet on when it will film.
