Cuba Gooding Jr cast as O.J. Simpson
Cuba Gooding Jr is set to play American football player and ex-convict O.J. Simpson in the upcoming TV show American Crime Story: The People V. O.J. Simpson reported BANG Showbiz.
The former football player was accused of the murders of his ex-wife and her friend, but was found innocent. He was defended by the Kardashian’s biological father Robert Kardashian.
The new TV show is sort of a spin-off to American Horror Story and it will feature fellow alumni Sarah Paulson as Marcia Clarke – the prosecutor reports BANG Showbiz.
According to BANG Showbiz, the series is said to be based on the book The Run of His Life: The People v. O.J. Simpson by Jeffrey Toobin, with nothing yet confirmed.
According to BANG Showbiz, the show will begin production early next year, however, there’s no word yet on when the first episode will air on television.
