Cole Sprouse Shuts Down Cheating Rumours
Cole Sprouse is putting his foot down on reports that he cheated on his on-off girlfriend, Lili Reinhart, with model Kaia Gerber.
Sprouse and Reinhart – who respectively play on-screen item, Jughead Jones and Betty Cooper, on the hit television show, “Riverdale” – confirmed their romance after making their red-carpet debut together at the 2018 Met Gala in New York City.
However, rumours recently began circulating that Sprouse, 27, and Reinhart, 23, broke up because the former was seeing 18-year-old Gerber behind the latter’s back.
A frustrated Sprouse took to Instagram Story on Sunday night, 19 April, and addressed the allegations.
He wrote: “I tolerate a lot of rumours and slander from people online claiming to be my fans … when I first stepped into a public relationship, this was one of the foreseeable consequences.”
Sprouse scathingly continued: “While I truly never intended to indulge any part of my private life to the ravenous horde, it’s clear my restraint in updating them has allowed them to push their own agenda onto my habits and lifestyle.”
Reinhart has not commented publicly on the rumours.
