Chitembwe’s Contract Extended

October 23, 2015

Caps United coach, Lloyd Chitembwe, looks to stay with the team he so beautifully helped, after his contract was extended by the Caps United board.

At the start of his tenure, Chitembwe was given a goal of reaching a top four finish in the Premier League, which of course he is very much close to getting, with the Caps currently sitting in 5th place.

President of Caps United, Farai Jere, said that Chitembwe more than proved his worth to the club and that it would be a pleasure for him to have him stay on as coach.

Jere went on saying that he believes Chitembwe will take the Caps to even greater heights:

“…[sic] We have very high hopes that we will be retaining these guys especially looking at the results they have given us the chances are so high that we will be retaining them…Next year we are retaining them and they have started identifying players they want for next season and we have secured some of them and we are still chasing some of the players they want” he told reporters at a recent press conference.

At the current rate the Caps are climbing, they may very well finish on top of the league next year.
