Chelsea Announce New Shirt Sponsor
Chelsea FC have unveiled a new front-of-shirt sponsorship deal with United Arab Emirates luxury property developer, DAMAC Properties, set to run for the remainder of the 2024/25 season.
The partnership begins with the Blues’ UEFA Europa Conference League semi-final first leg against Djurgardens tonight, 1 May, marking the first time this season the team will wear the newly designed shirt.
The deal also includes Chelsea Women, whose branded shirts will debut away at Tottenham Hotspur three days later. However, the agreement apparently does not extend to this summer’s Club World Cup, with negotiations ongoing for a separate long-term sponsor.
As part of a broader partnership, the company will develop a £1 billion Chelsea-branded residential project in Dubai’s Maritime City, featuring over 1 400 units.
Club president Jason Gannon called the collaboration a first-of-its-kind and hailed it as a key move in growing the club’s global presence.
DAMAC’s managing director, Amira Sajwani, described the launch as “a celebration of Chelsea’s enduring legacy, innovative spirit and relentless pursuit of excellence”.
The Blues have been without a primary shirt sponsor for most of the season, and this short-term agreement reflects a strategic approach as the club continues to align future commercial partners with its brand values.
