Channing Tatum Granted Restraining Order Against Crazed Fan
Channing Tatum has obtained a restraining order against a woman who broke into his home and lived there secretly for more than a week.
The “21 Jump Street” actor filed court documents at a Los Angeles County courthouse on Tuesday, 2 July, against the unnamed woman who allegedly broke into his Hollywood house and stayed there for ten days.
She was discovered by one of Tatum’s assistants on 24 June, and was restrained until the police arrived. The woman explained to the authorities that she was not trespassing as Tatum had invited her.
The 39-year-old actor included in court documents that his alleged stalker had sent a letter to his house in November last year, in which she claimed that they had met ten years earlier and that he was watching her. Tatum has denied all claims.
The restraining order includes protection for Tatum’s ex-wife, Jenna Dewan, their daughter Everly, and his two assistants.
