Chadwick Boseman Married Girlfriend Before His Death

Chadwick Boseman reportedly married his longtime girlfriend, Taylor Simone Ledward, prior to his death.

Last Friday, 28 August, the 43-year-old “Black Panther” star died at his home in Los Angeles, California, following a four-year battle with colon cancer that he kept under wraps from the public.

According to a statement released by Boseman’s family soon after his passing, the actor died “with his wife and family by his side.”

The marriage apparently took place some time during the final months of his life.

Per reports, Boseman – known for being notoriously private – was first spotted with Ledward in 2015, a year after she had graduated from Cal Polytechnic University Pomona with a degree in music industry studies.

In January 2019, they stepped out together as a couple at the Screen Actors Guild Awards.

Two months later, they attended the 50th NAACP Image Awards, where Boseman professed his love for Ledward in his acceptance speech after receiving the award for Outstanding Actor in a Motion Picture. They reportedly got engaged in October that same year.
