January 25, 2019

After suffering a series of miscarriages, singer Carrie Underwood is proud to welcome her newborn son into the world.

Last year, the “Cowboy Casanova” hitmaker – who already has three-year-old son, Isaiah, with her husband, former pro hockey player Mike Fisher – revealed in an emotional television interview that she had suffered three miscarriages from 2017 to 2018.

Taking to Instagram on Wednesday, 23 January, Underwood announced the arrival of the couple’s second son, Jacob Bryan Fisher.

In the caption included alongside the photo gallery of the family and their latest addition, she wrote: “Jacob Bryan Fisher entered the world in the wee hours of the morning on Monday [21 January] … his mom, dad and big brother couldn’t be happier for God to trust them with taking care of this little miracle!”

She added: “Our hearts are full, our eyes are tired and our lives are forever changed. Life is good …”
