Cardi B Cancels Concert over “Security Threat”

A “security threat” is the reason Cardi B had to cancel her concert at the last minute on Tuesday, 30 July.

According to reports, the “Bodak Yellow” hitmaker was scheduled to perform at the Bankers Life Fieldhouse arena in Indianapolis, Indiana. However, the concert was called off less than an hour before showtime.

Taking to Twitter, Cardi B explained the sudden cancellation.

She wrote: “Dear Indiana people [sic] I’m so sorry for today. I will [sic] like to let you know I was at the venue I was even [sic] rehearsing a new move I been [sic] excited to do on my show. Unfortunately, there was a security threat that is currently under investigation right now. My safety and your safety first [sic].”

The show has been rescheduled to 11 September at the same venue.

Meanwhile, the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department have confirmed in a separate statement that the investigation into the “unverified threat” is ongoing.
