Caitlyn Jenner Wants to Get Into Politics

July 17, 2017

Caitlyn Jenner might have a new gig soon, and we’re not talking reality TV.

Jenner joined radio station, AM 970 New York, on Sunday, and the conversation quickly turned to her political ambitions.

Caitlyn said that she has been ‘seriously considering’ stepping into the political arena so as to make a ‘better impact’ on the world.

“The political side of [my transition] has always been very intriguing to me. Over the next six months or so, I gotta find out where I can do a better job,” she told the radio station.

Jenner also questioned whether she will be able to do more ‘from the inside’. She has long since said that she wants to use her platform to help the LGBTQ community.

“Can I do a better job from the outside? Kind of working the perimeter of the political scene, being open to talk to anybody? Or are you better off from the inside, and we are in the process of determining that. Yea, but I would look for a senatorial run [sic],” she said.

This is not the first time that the former Olympian has hinted at getting involved in politics.

In April she told Don Lemon on CNN that she was looking into how she could help the LGBTQ community through politics and that she would ‘seriously consider’ it if she felt she could truly make a difference.
