Caitlyn Jenner: Can I be Your VP, Kanye?

July 17, 2020

Caitlyn Jenner recently asked Kanye West to be his running mate in the 2024 US presidential elections.

The 70-year-old television personality claims that she asked the “Jesus Walks” rapper – who announced his bid for the Oval Office on 6 July – to be his vice-president.

Jenner was previously married to Kris Jenner, the matriarch of the Kardashian family.

On Wednesday, 15 July, Yeezy took his first steps to realise his dream when he handed in the relevant documents and paid $35 000 required to register his candidacy with the Federal Election Commission.

The Oklahoma Board of Elections confirmed that he had the documents filed and paid the fee.

His party’s name? The BDY – short for ‘The Birthday Party’. According to West, it’s “because when we win, it’s everybody’s birthday.”

According to sources, when asked if she would be voting for West, Jenner responded that she had texted him with the VP offer.

Another claims that Yeezy has “always been a big supporter of [Jenner]”, which has been heavily implied as they have been communicating since the lockdown and building bridges after previous family squabbles in recent years.

The insider added: “Kanye’s vowed to do whatever he can to bring them all back together.”
