Britney Spears Threatens To Sue Magazine

September 06, 2016

Music legend, Britney Spears, has reportedly threatened to sue American tabloid magazine, In Touch, for wanting to publish what she claims to be a false story about her.

The singer, who recently released her ninth studio album entitled ‘Glory’, is dead set on dragging In Touch magazine to court if they release a story about her that claims she acted erratic at the recent MTV VMA Awards.

According to reports, the story claims that Britney was “…[sic] talking and laughing to herself and using a British accent.”

Everyone obviously knows about Britney’s breakdown year in 2007, when she was photographed and filmed several times laughing and talking to herself and using a British accent.

Her lawyers claim this is just another false story trying to breakdown Britney’s character and her recent success.

Britney’s lawyer, who sent a letter to In Touch magazine asking them not to publish the story, said that the magazine had informed Britney’s rep that they would run the story.

Her lawyer claims that the story is very far from the truth:

“…[the story is] utterly false, highly defamatory and completely offensive to Ms. Spears.,”

We’ll have to see if In Touch still goes ahead with the story amid the Queen of Pop’s threats!
