Breaking Bad Film Coming to Netflix

August 26, 2019

The Breaking Bad film – a sequel to the TV show – will be coming to Netflix in October, but many wonder: will main character Walter White return?

“Breaking Bad” ran from 2008 until 2013, and earned itself a Guiness World Record for being the “Highest-Rated TV series” after receiving a consistently high ratings from critics.

Netflix’s twitter account posted a short trailer of the film yesterday, 25 August, with the caption: “What happened to Jesse Pinkman?”

Emmy-winner Aaron Paul will play the character in question – Pinkman, a crystal meth cooking protege who escaped a nazi meth gang during the series’ finale.

The online streaming service said that the film will see Paul’s character “coming to terms with his past in order to forge some kind of future”.

It has not been confirmed if Bryan Cranston will return as Pinkman’s mentor and business partner, Walter White.

White is a chemistry teacher who, over the course of the series, evolves into a drug-dealing underworld kingpin.

“El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie” will premiere on Netflix on 11 October.
