Bobbi Kristina Brown’s Ex-Boyfriend, 30, Dies

Nick Gordon, the former boyfriend of the late Bobbi Kristina Brown, has died aged 30.

According to his attorney, Joe Habachy, Gordon passed away on Monday 1 January, during a New Year’s celebration in central Florida.

While the cause of death has yet to be confirmed, Habachy alluded to his client’s drug addiction struggles.

He said: “While I cannot speak to the specific circumstances of [Gordon’s] death … I can honestly say that he worked hard to hold his head up and stay sober, and that he genuinely wanted a happy, healthy life with his family more than anything else.”

Gordon previously dated Brown – the only daughter of the late songstress, Whitney Houston – who died at the age of 22 in 2015 following six months in a medically-induced coma, after she was found unresponsive in a bathtub.

In 2016, Gordon was found legally responsible for Brown’s death following a civil case, and was ordered to pay $36 million to her estate.
