Bob Bradley ready for Premier League Debut
New Swansea City manager, Bob Bradley, has said that he is excited to start his tenure at the Premier League club and confident in his abilities.
Bradley was appointed as the new manager for Swansea, after the club sacked former manager Francesco Guidolin.
The 58-year old will be the first ever American to manage a club in the English Premier LEague – and judging by his recent comments, confidence in his abilities does not seem to be a problem for the American.
“…[sic] When I have a chance to observe different managers, the ones that do good work, I mention Pochettino, Klopp, Tuchel that took over for Klopp at Dortmund, he’s a fantastic young manager…We haven’t even talked about the Guardiolas and the Ancelottis. But I’ll tell you what, maybe I’m stupid, but I think I’m a manager in and around that level,” he recently told a radio station.
Bradley has, what some would call, a ‘modest’ CV compared to his English and European counterparts, but that doesn’t seem to stop the man.
“…I’m not saying I’m better than these guys – I haven’t had those types of opportunities – but I think people that have played for me have always felt that the experience in the team was different, that training was challenging, that there were a lot of things done to help them become better players and better people,” he concluded.
