“Blessed” Trey Songz Welcomes Baby Boy
Fans were in for a surprise when singer Trey Songz confirmed that he has become a father for the first time.
Taking to Instagram yesterday, Thursday 16 May, the “Chi Chi” hitmaker posted a black-and-white photo of him holding a baby’s tiny foot. In the caption, he simply added a blue heart emoji.
Later in the day, Songz uploaded a photo of his newborn bundle of joy, sleeping soundly in a blue and white bear-patterned onesie.
In the caption, the 34-year-old singer wrote: “My son Noah. We are blessed and overjoyed. Peace.”
Congratulatory messages from fans and celebs have since poured in for the “Slow Motion” singer. Lori Harvey, his ex-girlfriend from whom he split in February this year, wrote: “Happy for you T!!! [sic]”
Songz – real name Tremaine Aldon Neverson – first indicated that he wanted to start his own family during a radio interview with Charlamagne tha God back in 2015, although he was not “in a rush to do it.”
It is currently unknown who the mother of baby Noah is.
