Billiat Gets South African Citizenship

Mamelodi Sundowns player and Zimbabwean international, Khama Billiat, has earned South African citizenship.

The Zimbabwe international first arrived in the South African PSL in 2010 after joining Ajax Cape Town, before moving on to the Brazilians in 2013. He has since been registered as a local player by the South African team.

With Billiat being awarded South African citizenship, it allows for another Zimbabwean player to be drafted to the South African PSL before the transfer window closes on August 31st.

There has been no comment as to who it will be but insiders are fairly certain that the South African club will make space for another Zimbabwean player.
