Bill Cosby’s epic Twitter fail

November 11, 2014

Bill Cosby came out of the woods yesterday to promote his new website through Twitter but it backfired very quickly.

The actor recently unveiled his website, called the Bill Cosby meme generator on November 10 and was delusional enough to think that this regurgitated idea would make people forget his recent resurrection of rape accusations.

To promote this idea, Cosby took to Twitter to encourage fans and others to use this “exclusive” and “exciting” idea of creating a meme generator that’s never been done before.

He tweeted:

Go ahead. Meme me! http://t.co/uM3KSji8or #CosbyMeme pic.twitter.com/9PbpQqz33X
— Bill Cosby (@BillCosby) November 10, 2014

But the idea backfired quickly on the Twittersphere as soon as people began creating their own memes of Cosby tackling his sexual assault and rape accusations head on. Unlike most news outlets and TV shows, who’ve shied away from probing Cosby about the accusations, Twitter decided to face it head on and these were some of the results under the hashtag #CosbyMeme:
