Beyoncé Is Pregnant With Twins!
The world let out a collective gasp last night when Beyoncé announced that she is pregnant. And to make it even more of a momentous occasion, Queen Bey also revealed that she is expecting not one, but two babies!
Beyoncé made the announcement on Instagram yesterday by posting a picture of herself cradling her growing belly, clad in a light green veil and underwear.
She captioned the picture:
“We would like to share our love and happiness. We have been blessed two times over. We are incredibly grateful that our family will be growing by two, and we thank you for your well wishes. – The Carters”.
Bey’s fanbase – who lovingly call themselves the ‘BeyHive’ – went into overdrive over the news, and quickly the singer’s various social media accounts were flooded with well wishes from fans.
In fact, the news of Beyoncé’s expected twins was so big, that it literally almost broke the internet. Within hours of the announcement, several memes, jokes, and Twitter handles were created, all honouring Queen Bey’s unborn children.
Beyoncé and husband, Jay-Z, are already parents to 5-year-old Blue Ivy Carter, who is reported to be super excited to become a big sister.
Congratulations, Bey and Jay-Z! We cannot wait to meet the new additions to the Carter family!
