Bella Hadid Opens Up About Her Breakup with The Weeknd

Supermodel and current ‘it-girl’, Bella Hadid, poured her heart out to Teen Vogue, opening up for the first time about her breakup with singer, The Weeknd.

The 20-year-old model and ‘Starboy’ crooner dated for just over a year, but called it quits in November.

Bella hasn’t spoken publicly about their breakup, even after the two appeared together at last year’s Victoria’s Secret fashion show.

However, during an interview for this month’s love-themed issue of Teen Vogue, Bella said that while it may have seemed as though she moved past the breakup quickly, that wasn’t really the case.

“As an outsider, you might think I handled it so well, but it’s always in your heart, and you always feel it very heavily,” she said.

She continued, saying that while it may still be hard, she knows that she will eventually move past the heartbreak.

“It’ll be hard for a while. Love hurts, but you have to pull through,” she told the magazine.

While The Weeknd has not addressed his breakup with Gigi Hadid’s younger sister publicly, he has made it clear that he has moved on, by hooking up with Selena Gomez.

The two were spotted (and caught kissing) for the first time together about a month ago, and have since gone on a romantic trip to Italy, where they did not seem to mind the paparazzi following their every move.

While Bella’s heart may still be hurting, we’re pretty sure that it won’t be hard for the supermodel to find another boyfriend!
