Bayern Munich Star Has Heart Attack Scare

October 21, 2019

Bayern Munich midfielder, Corentin Tolisso, appears to be unharmed after a heart attack scare during a recent training session.

The 25-year-old Frenchman was training alongside his team-mates at the Sabener Strasse training facility yesterday, Sunday, 20 October, when he suddenly sat down on the pitch and grabbed his chest in pain.

According to a German media outlet, head coach Niko Kovac immediately halted the session while the club’s doctor, Peter Ueblacker, examined Tolisso.

Fortunately, it was determined that he was only suffering from a bout of dizziness and is now well again.

Bayern Munich are set to face Olympiacos in a UEFA Champions League clash tomorrow, Tuesday 22 October. Tolisso is expected to star alongside team-mate Thiago Alcantara in midfield.

In light of Sunday’s scare, however, Kovac and his team-mates will surely be keeping a close eye on him during the match, as well as over the next few games.
