Ballon d’Or 2017 Nominees

October 10, 2017

The nominees for the most coveted trophy in football were announced yesterday by French publication, France Football.

The 30-man shortlist includes seven Real Madrid players following their Champions League and La Liga wins last season.

For the second year in a row, not a single Arsenal player made the list.

The past nine awards have been won by either Cristiano Ronaldo or Lionel Messi. Ronaldo, who won last year, is currently favourite to earn the award again.
