Ariana Grande Takes Break after Being ‘Through Hell’

October 12, 2018

Ariana Grande has confirmed that she is taking a break from music, with the intention to take time out to look after herself.

The “God Is a Woman” singer – whose ex-boyfriend, Mac Miller, tragically passed away in September this year at the age of 26 – defended herself against criticism when she teased her fans with an “official video” for “Breathin’”, which turned out to be a short clip of her pet pig.

After one fan commented that her work is “lazy”, Grande responded: “Been thru hell and back and I’m doing my best to keep going. Thought this would make u laugh while u wait for the real bc i took a break to take care of myself for a lil while. My b [sic]”

The songstress released her album, “Sweetener”, in August this year, but intends to drop another before the end of the year.

Grande, who has previously revealed that touring scares her, is scheduled to perform at two shows – a cancer benefit held this Saturday, 13 October, at Warner Bros. Studios in Los Angeles, and on 29 December at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas.
