Antipas Confident With Lead

It seems that the morale at the Chicken Inn camp is only on the up, according to Chicken Inn coach, Joey Antipas.

Speaking to the media after Chicken Inn’s win over How Mine on Saturday, antipas said that he is pleased with his team’s performance and that he – along with the players – are confident that they could win the league this season.

They are currently four-points ahead of FC Platinum, who is currently finding themselves in second place. They are also six points ahead of the Dynamos, who are currently sitting in third position behind FC Platinum.

Antipas said he was pleased with his boys’ performance, especially on Saturday, and that he is confident enough that they could pull off a win:

“…[sic] The strong character they showed is very inspiring and will see us finishing the season on a good position…I am not saying that we will win the league title but the way the boys played was something that can make us achieve our target of ending the season on a good position.”
