Anna Faris and Chris Pratt Announce Separation

Actor couple, Anna Faris, and husband, Chris Pratt, have announced that they are calling it quits.

Chris and Anna, who are parents to 4-year-old son, Jack, issued a joint statement on the split. They also posted individual messages on their respective social media accounts.

“Anna and I are sad to announce we are legally separating. We tried hard for a long time, and we’re really disappointed. Our son has two parents who love him very much and for his sake we want to keep this situation as private as possible moving forward. We still have love for each other, will always cherish our time together and continue to have the deepest respect for one another,” Chris posted on his official Facebook page.

Anna posted a similar message on her official Twitter account.

The couple first started dating in 2008, after they met on the set of the film, ‘Take Me Home Tonight’ in 2007. Not long after, they got engaged, and finally tied the knot in 2009. .

Thousands of people posted on social media, expressing disbelief, but giving their support to the comedic couple.

Anna and Chris have become somewhat of an internet sensation over the past few years, with people often refering to them when listing ‘couple goals’.

The couple often gushed about their relationship during interviews.

“He’s humble, and he’s a great leader, and he’s an incredible father and a great husband. And I feel like, after years of dating people that weren’t the best for me, I found somebody whose love I could really accept,” Anna told the Huffington Post last year.
